Prabhushree English Medium School is a young institution. Located in an idyllic setting, the school is inspired by the idea of Vana Vidyalaya established by Pandit Gopabandhu Das, a few kilometres away, an idea that influenced Rabindranath Tagore to set up Visva Bharti later. The school aims to develop the myriad talent that children are blessed with in a manner that fires their imagination and creative impulses.
The school provides wide, well-lighted and ventilated rooms with adequate toilet facilities. The premises are non-congested and neat. The school provides outdoor games facilities like volley ball, basketball, kho kho and kabbadi. In addition to this a second large playground has been developed within the campus for football. The school has been imparting classes in fine arts and painting as well. The school boasts of a large state-of-the art computer laboratory for the benefit of the students. The campus is wi-fi enabled.
The school is proud of its first batch of students (2019-2020) batch that passed out successfully last year. All the students passed in first class and two students scored well above ninety per cent marks. Our subsequent batches are all fired up and we expect wonderful results in all subsequent years. This has, no doubt, been made possible by the tireless efforts of our students and teachers.
